Crawler Drilling Rig Crawler Maintenance

When the crawler drilling rig is constructed on a site with soft soil, the crawler and the rail link are easy to adhere to the soil. Therefore, the crawler should be adjusted slightly loose to prevent abnormal stress on the rail link due to the adhesion of the soil. When covering the construction site with pebbles, the crawler should also be adjusted slightly looser, so that when walking on the pebbles, the tortuousness of the crawler shoes can be prevented. On firm and flat ground, the tracks need to be adjusted a little tighter. Adjustment of track tension: If the track is too tight, the walking speed and walking power will decrease.
Attention should be paid to reducing wear and tear during the construction of crawler drilling rigs. Carrier rollers, track rollers, drive wheels, and rail links are all parts that are prone to wear, but there are large differences depending on whether daily inspections are performed or not. So, as long as you spend a little time on proper maintenance, you can control the degree of wear and tear well. If it continues to be used in a state where some of the carrier rollers and rollers cannot work, it may cause the rollers to wear off, and at the same time, it may cause the wear of the rail links. If an inoperable roller is found, it must be repaired immediately. In this way, other troubles can be prevented from being formed. If you repeatedly walk on the slanted ground for a long time and make a sudden turn, the side of the rail link will come into contact with the side of the driving wheel and the guide wheel, and then the degree of wear will increase. Therefore, walking on skewed terrain and sudden turns should be avoided as much as possible. For straight-line treks and big turns, it effectively prevents wear and tear.
At the same time, pay attention to always checking the accessories of the crawler drilling rig to ensure safety, and feel free to consult us if you have any questions.
