Foundation preparation often requires precise drilling to ensure structural stability. The S82 pneumatic rock drill allows operators to drill accurately in confined foundation zones.
This precision supports high-quality construction outcomes and reduces rework.
As a compact yet high-performance pneumatic rock drill, the S82 is designed to adapt to diverse construction and mining scenarios, especially excelling in foundation drilling for civil engineering projects. It features a forged cylinder body and reinforced sealing structure, making it durable even in high-humidity or dusty working environments. With a drilling diameter ranging from 34mm to 45mm and a maximum drilling depth of 5 meters, it is ideal for small to medium-sized drilling tasks, including blast hole drilling in mines and pre-drilling for slope support. The machine weighs only 26.5kg, with a compact size of 659×248×205mm, enabling easy movement and operation in narrow spaces where large equipment cannot reach.
Using the S82 is straightforward for operators with basic training. First, connect the air hose (inner diameter 25mm) to a compressed air source, ensuring stable air supply. Then, attach the appropriate drill bit (H22×108mm shank) and adjust the drilling direction to horizontal or inclined as needed. Start the machine and control the drilling speed by regulating air pressure, with an optimal air consumption of 52-88 L/s. Regular lubrication of the internal components and inspection of the water hose (inner diameter 13mm) for dust removal are recommended to extend the machine’s service life.
Compared with ordinary air leg rock drills previously used in mines, the S82 brings remarkable improvements. Traditional air-leg drills rely on manual force assistance, resulting in low drilling efficiency—only 1-2 meters per hour in hard rock—and high labor intensity for operators. They also lack stable precision, leading to frequent rework and increased project costs. In contrast, the S82’s pneumatic-driven piston delivers consistent impact force, boosting drilling efficiency by 30% or more and reducing labor demand significantly. Its adjustable impact frequency adapts to different rock hardness, minimizing drill bit wear and ensuring hole accuracy, which cuts rework rates by half in practical applications.
